    1. Contribute to a safe navigational watch
    1.1 Ability to understand orders and communicate with the officer on wacth on matters relevant to watchkeeping duties

    6.3 Knowledge of the approved methods for the disposal of the marine pollutants
    7. Handle survival craft and rescue boats
    7.1 Knowledge of the operation of survival craft and rescue boats their launching appliances and arrangements and of equipment
    7.2 Knowledge of the techniques of survival at sea
    8. contribute to maintenance repairs onboard
    8.1 Ability to use materials and equipment in painting, cleaning and lubrication
    8.2 Ability to understand and execute the routine maintenance procedures and repairs
    8.3 Knowledge of surface preparation techniques
    8.4 Knowledge to the safety guidelines of the manufacturer and the instructions to onboard
    8.5 Knowledge of safe disposal without risk of waste materials
    8.6 Knowledge of the application, and the use of hand tools and electrical tools
